Software Engineer – Real-Time Embedded Software Development

Location: Rehovot Position: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Real-Time Embedded Software Development Group.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of software packages for a variety of multidisciplinary observation and video systems. You will develop software components based on system requirements, maintain a system-level perspective, and participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, including ongoing technical support throughout the product lifecycle.

You will work closely with project managers, system engineers, and professionals from various engineering disciplines across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software in C++ for real-time operating systems in a multi-interface environment.

• Design and implement software architectures and software components.

• Develop software packages for multidisciplinary observation and video systems.

• Translate system requirements into software solutions while maintaining a comprehensive system-level perspective.

• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to integration and technical support.

• Collaborate with project managers, system engineers, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering – mandatory.

• Knowledge and experience in RT/Embedded software development – mandatory.

• At least 5 years of experience in C++ software development – mandatory.

• Knowledge and experience in multithreading and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) – mandatory.

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary company – an advantage.

• Strong system-level thinking and understanding.

• Excellent independent working and self-learning capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
